Google search results and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are the corner stone of today’s business model.

Blog software these days can be used to publish content quickly. Blog software has a lot of SEO tools built right in. Plug-ins offer a horde of automatic enhancements like translations or site maps which aid in search engine optimization. Here is a site that I quickly republished using WordPress. It only took me 3-4 hours to ditch that html for dynamic content. Now the owner can publish using a password protected back end and a web browser. And software like WordPress can create a RSS feed for hands off syndication of your content.

I spent over a year filming this by myself. It was a partnership with CCVB and Peek’n Peak in Findley Lake that aided in the equipment and man hours to accomplish the task. [See post to watch Flash video] Music was sourced from Tunedge. Great database of tunes to search. Gwen Bush from Western New York laid down the voice track. I took direction from the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau on the editing.

Suburban Blend and many other Western New York ski and snowboard shops came out to Holiday Valley Resort to compete in a Slopestyle event. The standout rider as you can see in the video was John Centi of SnowRev.com who was poaching the event. Watch video on iTunes

Fat don’t Fly…

So here you’ll see me at age 38 getting out of the halfpipe at Peek’n Peak Resort. I was the oldest competitor that day and just might have gone the highest! It was only an 8 foot pipe though which is the smallest they make. I had gone to great lengths to get the resort to purchase a Zaugg Pipe groomer which made this a perfect beginner pipe.
