Blog software these days can be used to publish content quickly. Plug-ins offer a horde of automatic enhancements like translations or site maps which aid in search engine optimization. Here is a site that I quickly republished using WordPress. It only took me 3-4 hours to ditch that html for dynamic content. Now the owner can publish using a password protected back end and a web browser.
Another Client Apollo Property Management had their site re-created in WordPress in about two hours. Now managers in multiple locations can add content to the site without having to purchase addition web authoring software. Talk about a return on investment.
I spent over a year filming this by myself. It was a partnership with CCVB and Peek’n Peak in Findley Lake that aided in the equipment and man hours to accomplish the task.
Music was sourced from Tunedge. Great database of tunes to search. Gwen Bush from Western New York laid down the voice track. I took direction from the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau on the editing.

Suburban Blend and many other Western New York ski and snowboard shops came out to Holiday Valley Resort to compete in a Slopestyle event. The standout rider as you can see in the video was John Centi of SnowRev.com who was poaching the event. Watch video on iTunes
My good friend Pete Scheira and I started a Click & Mortar snowboard store. Our plan was to sell only on-line but the opportunity came up to buy a local shop that was going out of business. The local response has been overwhelming! The local’s love our steez!
I’ve been developing this for some time now. I’ve integrated our website, POS (point of sale cash register), back office computer and shipping operation. Now the challenge is inventory, accounting, ads, and excellent customer service. As hard as all that might sound, I’d call it a dream job!
